2008-2009 Service Award

    Jane Christensen was the recipient of BRWTA’s 2008-09 Service Award at the May 11th luncheon.   Jane served as Executive Secretary of BRWTA for over 20 years and worked at the pleasure of the BRWTA  Board  in numerous capacities over the years depending on where her help and expertise were needed at the time.  Although Jane is not playing much tennis these days, you might see her sitting in the umpire’s chair at an LSU tennis match or serving in some other official capacity at a tennis tournament.   We were so honored to present Jane with this year’s award for all of her outstanding contributions to and noteworthy involvement in the Baton Rouge tennis community.
